New Photoelectric Sensor with IO-Link
With the B25 Wide Beam Sensor from its partner Banner Engineering, TURCK offers a robust solution for the precise detection of even the smallest and most transparent objects. The wide beam sensor was developed for applications in which conventional light barriers reach their limits, such as on conveyor belts. With a 25 mm wide light beam and a range of 2 m, the B25 reliably detects even objects with irregular shapes or reflective edges. The one-button teach function with automatic sensitivity adjustment is the simplest commissioning option for the B25. Additional teach options and the IO-Link interface enable the communication of additional data for networked applications.

New Radar Sensors with IO-Link
TURCK is expanding its DR radar sensor series with two new variants: the DR30N for precise long-range detection and the DR7.5WE for wide-area close-range monitoring. The DR30N offers a range of up to 30 m and a spherical beam shape of ±2.5°. In contrast, the DR7.5WE with an ellipsoidal beam shape of ±22.5° to ±7.5° and a range of up to 7.5 m enables wide area monitoring. Both sensors are designed in a robust M30 metal housing with IP67 protection and offer either IO-Link or switching outputs.

Electronic Circuit Breakers with IO-Link
WAGO has introduced their next generation range of Electronic Circuit Breakers (ECBs) that provide significant benefits over the traditional DC circuit protection methods. Remote monitoring via IO-Link enables quick and easy identification of where a circuit fault has occurred. WAGO ECBs with IO-Link provide real time monitoring of each DC load circuit, providing vital condition monitoring data. Another useful advantage is that ECBs can be adjusted, either locally or via IO-Link, meaning last minute specification changes are a simple adjustment rather than a costly product swap.

New IO-Link Safety Master Released
The rapid commissioning of modular, decentralized production plants is an important aspect of digitalized industrial production. The IO-Link Safety Master PDP67 in the IO-Link Safety System from Pilz is now available for this purpose. It can be used for simple implementation of bidirectional communication up to field level. As a decentralized interface to the higher-level safety controller, it enables various connections, such as safety sensors with IO-Link Safety or even standard IO-Link sensors or actuators, for example. Users benefit from flexible, seamless and safe communication at field level, up to the highest category PLe / SIL3 – whether it’s safety-related or standard communication.

Compact SIL Encoders with PROFINET Security
TR Electronic has expanded its portfolio of safety-certified rotary encoders with the CD_582 series. These compact absolute encoders meet SIL3 requirements and now support PROFINET Security Class 1 for enhanced data protection. Built on modern hardware with updated protocol stacks, they ensure future-proof integration into safety-relevant control systems. Certified by PI, the CD_582 encoders are ideal for demanding industrial applications requiring secure and precise position feedback.

Multi-Axis Controllers with PROFINET
maxon is expanding its portfolio of multi-axis controllers with two new variants of their MiniMACS6-AMP4 series. These new models are specifically tailored to meet the demands of precision automation and industrial communication – enabling customers to integrate sophisticated motion control solutions even more flexibly and efficiently. One technological milestone is the integration of the PROFINET interface into the MiniMACS6-AMP4 series. This enables maxon to support one of the leading industrial Ethernet standards and allows high-performance real-time communication in the millisecond range.

Updated Permanent Monitoring Solution for PROFINET
HMS Networks introduces the new Atlas2 Plus, a next-generation solution designed to make industrial network monitoring more predictive, accessible, and efficient. As industrial networks grow increasingly complex — spanning multiple protocols and countless connected devices — keeping them running smoothly has never been more important. Powered by Osiris network monitoring software, the Atlas2 Plus delivers permanent visibility, predictive diagnostics, and clear visualizations of PROFINET networks that help teams detect and resolve issues before they cause downtime. Key features include: dynamic graphical displays of a network’s topology, predictive insights that highlight vulnerabilities before they disrupt production, and intuitive interface and guided troubleshooting, making monitoring accessible for all skill levels.

Area Grippers with IO-Link
Different materials, changing workpieces and increasing cost pressure require systems that can adapt flexibly. With the vacuum area gripping systems FA-X / FA-M, Schmalz is launching two solutions that move parts of all kinds safely and save energy at the same time. The FA-X variant has an integrated vacuum generator, while the FA-M model is designed for external vacuum sources. Both area gripping systems offer variants for different requirements: from basic to intelligent. The smart version shows data on energy consumption and system status directly on the display, but also sends it to a smartphone via IO-Link or an app.
